About Us:
How Acentra Health Works with the Oregon Health Authority
You may be wondering who Acentra Health is and why you are receiving communications from us. We want to make that clear and easy to understand.
Acentra Health works with the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to support people who get their health coverage through the Oregon Health Plan Open Card Care Coordination (OHPCC). OHA is the state agency that runs OHPCC and sets the rules that help keep members safe, supported, and treated fairly.
Acentra Health is a company that OHA chooses to help with important services for members. This means we work under OHA’s direction to make sure you get clear information and helpful support when you need it.
What Acentra Health Does for OHP Members
We provide many services that help you understand and use your Oregon Health Plan benefits. These include:
- Helping you understand your benefits: We explain what services are covered, how to use them, and what steps you may need to take.
- Connecting you with health and support programs: We help you learn about programs like health assessments, care coordination, and services that support your well‑being.
- Answering your questions: Our team can help explain letters, notices, or benefits and point you to the right resources.
- Supporting members with special needs: We help make sure people with disabilities, chronic conditions, or other needs get information and support that fits their situation.
- Helping you find Providers: Our team works to provide an up-to-date list of providers for all health needs and specialties.
How We Work With OHA
OHA sets the goals and rules for the Oregon Health Plan. Acentra Health helps carry out those goals by:
- Following all state and federal requirements
- Working closely with OHA to make sure our services are accurate and fair
- Supporting OHA’s mission to improve health and well‑being across Oregon
- Helping make OHP easier to use for members and families
Together, Acentra Health and OHA want to make sure you can get care, stay healthy, and feel supported every step of the way.
